AG Heylen Solar 21 BV, in a joint venture with AG Real Estate, invested in a photovoltaic installation for radiator group Radiator Springs 21 in Heerlen. Through its end-to-end guidance, Heylen Energy ensured not only efficiency and quality but also gave Radiator Springs the confidence that every aspect of the project was carefully managed.
Radiator Springs 21 leases over 28,000 m² of build-to-suit logistics real estate, including 25,000 m² of warehouse space, 2,900 m² of mezzanine, and 400 m² of office space, located in the Avantis business park.
One of the challenges of this project was that the installation had to be integrated into an existing operational site, which required extra attention to seamless execution. Additionally, the system was equipped with its own transformer station, enabling 100% of the generated energy to be directly injected into the grid. The installation also needed to be operational within a strict deadline to qualify for the SDE++ subsidy.
Results: The installation was completed in an east-west configuration with a total capacity of 3.5 MWp.
