FROM FEASIBILITY STUDY TO EXECUTION AND MANAGEMENT

Every project starts with a thorough analysis of the client’s specific needs - both now and in the future - taking into account the current on-site situation. Once we have a clear understanding, we develop a tailor-made proposal designed to deliver the most efficient and sustainable outcome.

Step 1: Information round

Heylen Energy gathers all relevant information and explores the possibilities. An initial rudimentary simulation is then created.

Step 2: Business case presentation

We deliver a company presentation explaining the source of the renewable energy, available subsidies, payback effects, and financing options. Various parameters can be entered into a simulation tool to explore different scenarios and strategies.

Step 3: Technical and feasibility study including business proposal(s)

Heylen Energy delivers a comprehensive technical and economic feasibility study. Based on this, the project receives a go or no-go decision. If approved, a sales contract is signed.

Step 4: Preliminary studies

Based on the chosen business proposal, Heylen Energy begins with the preparatory grid studies and subsidy applications.

Step 5: Procurement process

All documents are prepared to initiate the procurement process. Through this procedure, the most competitive contractor is selected, ensuring the highest quality, a standard we uphold at Heylen Energy, backed by our extensive experience in the industry.

Step 6: Planning & kick-off

A detailed execution plan is drawn up and presented to the client on-site. This plan serves as the foundation for the official project launch, marking the beginning of the construction phase.

Step 7: Project follow-up

Throughout the entire execution phase, Heylen Energy closely monitors the project and makes adjustments where necessary both on-site and remotely. This also includes managing subsidy applications and ensuring that all required documentation is obtained.

Step 8: Evaluation

Once the project is completed, it is handed over to the Asset Management department, which continuously monitors the installation’s technical and financial performance. This includes managing all administrative tasks, data analysis, reporting, and the contractual follow-up of O&M partners. We apply a 360° approach, with complete peace of mind for the client as our core focus.
